President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands on Tuesday where he will engage in high-level discussions with Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s visit to the Netherlands is at the invitation of Prime Minister Rutte.

While in the Netherlands, the President will also hold separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, who is the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

During his visit, the President will participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum, which aims to explore opportunities for collaboration and partnerships between Nigerian and Dutch businesses, particularly in agriculture and water management.

“The President will engage in discussions with Dutch officials on port management operations, an area where the Netherlands has world-renowned expertise.

“This visit is a significant step towards strengthening economic ties between Nigeria and the Netherlands,” Ngelale said.

After his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will proceed to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting scheduled for April 28-29.

The meeting, which focuses on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, will bring together over 1,000 leaders from business, government, and academia.

“The President will use this opportunity to engage in discussions that further his Renewed Hope Agenda for the country. He will be accompanied by some ministers and senior government officials”, Ngelale noted.

President Tinubu’s visit to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia is seen as a significant step towards promoting economic growth and development in Nigeria.

The visit is expected to yield significant benefits particularly in the areas of agriculture, water management, and port management operations.

“This visit is a demonstration of President Tinubu’s commitment to economic growth and development. We are confident that it will yield significant benefits for Nigeria,” Ngelale said,
