Supporters of Deacon Dele Adesina woke up to a poll which was started this morning on A group called “Lawyers in Nigeria”. It is pertinent to state that the poll is Mischievous, Ill-timed and does not reflect the person of Deacon Dele Adesina.

The bad faith and intentions of those behind the post became more manifest, when they held out Deacon Dele Adesina as a pastor, a position he has never claimed. The office of a Pastor, Imam and any religious leadership are highly desirable and respected offices and should not be brought to ridicule or pettiness.

If and when God decides to call Deacon Dele Adesina to the office of a Pastor, we assure the organisers of the polls that they will be notified.

It is even more surprising that the organizers of the poll are Lawyers who should be factually sound and we all know that a misrepresentation of the personality of Deacon Dele Adesina is wrong.

We want to state that Deacon Dele Adesina’s popularity within the legal community is not in doubt.

We hereby disassociate ourself from the poll being conducted on Lawyers in Nigeria.

It is devoid of reason why mock elections of such a prestigious organization such as Ours should be reduced to such joke
