The Young Lawyers Forum of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch, also known as the Unity Bar, has commenced its official membership registration exercise for young lawyers within the Branch.

The exercise is open to lawyers with zero to seven years post-call who are registered members of the NBA Abuja Branch.
According to the YLF Abuja Executive Council, the registration exercise is aimed at establishing an up-to-date membership database, strengthening communication among members, encouraging greater participation in the Forum’s activities and ensuring that its programmes adequately reflect the needs and interests of young lawyers.
The Forum urged all eligible young lawyers within the Abuja Branch to complete the registration process and become active members of the YLF community.
“The initiative aims to establish an up-to-date membership database, improve communication, encourage active participation, and ensure that the Forum’s programmes and activities reflect the needs and interests of its members,” the announcement stated.
Young lawyers who meet the eligibility requirement of zero to seven years post-call and are already registered with the NBA Abuja Branch can complete the YLF registration form through the link provided by the Forum:

Eligible lawyers may also access the registration platform by scanning the QR code contained in the accompanying membership flyer.
For young lawyers who have not yet registered with the NBA Abuja Branch, the Forum advised them to first complete their Branch registration through the Unity Bar membership portal:

The Forum said the exercise forms part of efforts to build a stronger, more connected and vibrant community of young lawyers within the Federal Capital Territory.
“Your participation is essential to building a more connected, vibrant, and impactful YLF community. We encourage all eligible young lawyers to register and be part of the Forum’s growth and development,” the Executive Council stated.
The membership drive is being undertaken by the YLF Abuja Executive Council for the 2026–2028 tenure.
