The Lawyers in Business Institute (LIBI) Mass-Housing and Land-Banking Scheme has reached another major milestone with the completion of construction up to Damp Proof Course (DPC) level for Sir Austin Bassey Tase Esq., just 14 days before a scheduled 15% price increase on plots and housing units.

The scheme, which is rapidly gaining attention among Nigeria’s legal and professional elite, has also recorded an impressive list of allottees. These include prominent legal figures such as Sir Babatunde Ogala, SAN, OFR; Chief Niyi Akintola, SAN; Dr. Monday Ubani, SAN; Mr. Marxwell Ikhongbe, Esq; Sir Ebun Adegboruwa, SAN; Lady Azuka Azinge, Esq; Mrs. Ezinwa Okoroafor, Esq; and Mr. Nnamdi Ikpeze, Esq.

Others include Prof. Yemi Oke, SAN; Sir Chuks Adiukwu, SAN; Mr. Theophilus Odaudu, Esq; Mr. Chisom Ohuaka, Esq; Dr. Maxwell Boniface Mba; Femi Falana, SAN & Co; Sir Folabi Kuti, SAN; Sir Femi Olujimi, Esq; M.S Abdullahi, SAN; Sir Ejike Ezenwa, SAN; Mr. Easabius Anyanwu, Esq; and Sir Mato Magaji, SAN.

Judges from various courts across Nigeria, legal practitioners in the diaspora, and other professionals have also keyed into the LIBI initiative.

The housing project offers flexible payment plans allowing subscribers to pay in instalments over two years. Title documentation, including the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), will soon be issued to allottees, solidifying their ownership rights.

Speaking on the development, Chief Emeka Silas Agbara, Esq.—Senior Associate at M.I Dikko SAN & Associates and Secretary of the NBA (National) Legal Entrepreneurship Committee—urged legal professionals and other Nigerians to take advantage of the remaining days before the 15% price increment takes effect.

“Everyone deserves a piece of Nigeria’s seat of power. This scheme offers you the chance to become a landlord in Abuja without financial stress,” Agbara said.

Prospective buyers and facilitators can earn a 5% referral commission and are encouraged to join upcoming inspections scheduled daily from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
