The President of the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU), Chief Emeka Obegolu has congratulated the President elect of Nigerian Bar Association, Mr. Olu Akpata on his election as the 30th President of the NBA.

In his congratulatory message, Chief Obegolu commended the Nigerian Lawyers for a smooth election while urging the President-elect to work hard to unify the Bar and deliver on the yearnings of the majority in uplifting the Bar in Nigeria.

The President noted that Nigerian Bar Association is the largest Bar in Africa and the continental lawyers’ body will continue to collaborate with NBA to enthrone the rule of law and constitutional democracy in Africa.

The PALU president wished the President-elect and all the elected national officers of NBA a successful tenure of office.
