Prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members have been warned that anyone caught with fake documents during the registration process at their orientation camps would be handed over to the law enforcement agents.

According to a statement by Mrs Bakare Josephine, the Director, Press and Public Relations, the NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, gave this warning while monitoring the registration procedure of prospective Corps Members deployed to FCT and Nasarawa State for 2019 Batch “B” Stream One Service year in their separate Orientation Camps.

He said management has put in place adequate machinery to clamp down and prosecute anyone caught.

Ibrahim advised them to be security conscious and embrace the skills acquisition programme of the scheme to become self-empowered and wealth creators.

He admonished them to obey the NYSC bye-laws and be of good conduct during and after their Orientation Exercise.

The NYSC boss enjoined them to be patriotic to the ideals of the NYSC Scheme.

The DG during the visits monitored the distribution of kits to Corps Members and also inspected Corps Members’ hostels, camp clinics, kitchen, sporting facilities among others.
