The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) encourages all its members to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Association which shall hold on Thursday 29/8/2019 at Harbour Point, off Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos at 12 noon. It adds that all members of the Association have right of attendance and audience whether registered for the ongoing conference or not. NBA PUBLICITY TEAM said:

“It is important that we remind members that by virtue of the NBA Constitution 2015 ALL MEMBERS of the Nigerian Bar Association have the right of attendance and audience at this Annual General Meeting, irrespective of the fact that such member (s) did not register for the ongoing Annual General Conference holding in Lagos.

“For the avoidance of doubt ALL MEMBERS of the Nigerian Bar Association shall be permitted to access the venue of the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 29/8/19.

“Lawyers are therefore advised to attend the Annual General Meeting en masse and contribute their opinions on the issues that concern the association as stated in the earlier published Notice of meeting.

“In order to get you prepared for a meeting that promises to be engaging, attached herewith is the Annual Report of the Nigerian Bar Association for your perusal. Also, there will be pervasive internet connectivity at the venue of this paperless meeting, colleagues are therefore advised to come with their devices to the Annual General Meeting.

“The NBA President and the Executive Committee look forward to receiving from and sharing with you ideas that will move our association forward.”
