On September 3, 2020, we published a story in our platform titled: “Abuja Branch Is Divided, We Need Your Intervention – Henry Okushuwa Writes NBA President, Olumide Akpata” wherein an allegation was made against Jibrin Samuel Okutepa, SAN to have made a donation to the purported creation of the New Nigerian Bar Association.

The publication was a content of an open letter by one Abuja based lawyer, Henry Efe Okusuwha, to the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Olumide Akpata, made available to us, which we regrettably did not reach out to Okutepa, SAN to verify.
However, we now have reasons based on some fresh facts to believe that the allegation was not correct.
