CITY LAWYER MAGAZINE not TheNigerialawyer gathered that following the partnership between the NBA and the Nigerian Law School towards providing hostel accommodation to conferees, an intending conferee sought to know whether the planned accommodation facilities would be near the viewing centre. His words: “My welfare sir. Is the accommodation closer to any of the viewing centers since we members of that club.” Responding, the NBA Welfare Secretary, Mr. Adesina Adegbite who has been adjudged by many as being responsive said: “The viewing centre is right inside the Law School.” This has laid to rest speculations on the location of the viewing centre which may accommodate over 2000 conferees. There are strong indications that the Law School management may have altered it’s calendar to accommodate the conferees, as the Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) battled to tackle the many logistical challenges thrown up by the huge number of intending conferees. Adesina hinted at this when he said: “Law School was to be in session during AGC. They had to eventually alter their calendar (about 2 weeks ago) just to accommodate the AGC arrangement.” The AGC begins on Friday, August 18, 2017 and ends August 24, 2017 CITY LAWYER MAGAZINE]]>
