Odera Mbadiwe, elder brother of the Mbadiwe twins and former Big Brother Naija stars, has expressed gratitude to fans and Nigerians after being found safe following his disappearance earlier this week.

In a social media post, Odera revealed that during his absence, a concoction of harmful substances was allegedly introduced into his system, leaving him in a vulnerable state. He credited his recovery to divine intervention, the support of his family, and the timely assistance of strangers who discovered him on the road.

“A young lady and a gentleman came to my aid and contacted my family after finding me helpless on the road. Your kindness and timely information were deeply valued,” Odera wrote.

He also thanked the Nigerian Police and other security agencies for their efforts in ensuring his safe return. Odera noted that he is now recovering and gradually returning to his usual self, describing the ordeal as a reminder of the power of community, love, and faith.

In his statement, Odera said:

“After being missing for three days, I am deeply thankful to be safe and recovering. It was later discovered that a concoction of multiple harmful substances had been introduced into my system by person(s) unknown, which led to a very difficult and uncertain time. However, with God’s grace and the unwavering support of my loved ones, I am here today — safe and getting stronger each day.”

The elder Mbadiwe expressed profound gratitude to all who reached out during the crisis, acknowledging the critical role of public support in his recovery.
