The former Governor of Bauchi State and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mohammed Abubakar, has paid a visit to the FCDA-allocated estate being developed under the Lawyers In Business Institute (LIBI) Mass Housing & Land-Banking Scheme in Abuja. The respected legal luminary praised the ongoing efforts of the institute in providing affordable housing and credible real estate investment opportunities, especially for legal professionals.

During his visit, M.A. Abubakar described the project as a commendable model for addressing housing needs in the FCT and beyond, particularly for middle-income earners seeking to become homeowners in Abuja.

In a major development, it was announced that the submission of names of allotees for the issuance of Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) by the Honourable Minister of the FCT will take place within the next two weeks. This comes as the major access road linking the estate to Abuja’s city centre is already under construction, a move expected to further boost the value and accessibility of the estate.

Details of the estate’s progress were also featured in The Nation Newspaper (Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, Pages 23–29).

The LIBI housing scheme allows subscribers to spread payments “small small” over up to two years, making home ownership in Abuja more accessible than ever.

Interested buyers and investors are invited to the next inspection and allocation sessions scheduled for:

  • Saturday, 7th June 2025, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Sunday, 8th June 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Daily inspections continue from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM till 30th June 2025

Meeting Point: Temporary entrance through VON/Trademore Estate Junction, Airport Road, Abuja.

The estate already boasts an impressive list of legal heavyweights and professionals among its allotees, including:

  • Sir Babatunde Ogala SAN, OFR
  • Chief Niyi Akintola SAN
  • Sir Folabi Kuti SAN
  • Femi Falana SAN & Co
  • Dr. Monday Ubani SAN
  • Prof. Yemi Oke SAN
