He was arraigned before Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court, Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly collecting N26m from the immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki, for media campaigns ahead of the 2015 general elections as Director of Media and Publicity in the Campaign Organization of former President Gooluck Jonathan. At the resumed hearing today, Fani-Kayode’s counsel, Wale Balogun informed the court the defendant was absent in court because of his ill health and presented an hospital report to that effect. Justice Tsoho, without any objection from prosecution adjourned the matter to February 6th, 2017. ]]>
