In Nigeria, a person who has information relevant in assisting in preventing the commission of an act of terrorism and fails to disclose the information to the relevant agency commits an offence.

PENALTY
Imprisonment for 20 years.

A legal practitioner is not obligated to disclose information he obtained from a client in privileged circumstances unless the disclosure pertains to an anticipated crime or concealing a crime.
