The Legal Pages is pleased to announce the maiden edition of her LEGAL PAGES ESSAY COMPETITION for Law Undergraduates pursuing their first degree.

The topic for the competition is: “The Role of Laws and Policies in Cushioning the Negative Economic Effect of Global Emergencies.”

The competition guidelines are :

1. Open to only Law Undergraduates pursuing their first degree

2. Words count is between 1000-1500 words

3. Entries must be written in English

4. Plagiarism leads to automatic disqualification

5. It should be sent in PDF format, Times New Romans, 12 font size and double spaced

6. OSCOLA referencing style to be adopted

7. A valid student identity card to be attached to the body of the mail

8. Entries to be submitted via: info@legalpages.com.ng

Meanwhile, the deadline for submission is scheduled to be 6th June, 2020.

Prizes to be won:

1st place — N75,000
2nd place — N50,000
3rd place — N25,000

In addition, the winners all get automatic paid internships with Primus Grace LP, an international arbitration Law Firm in the following orders:

The first prize will get 3 months paid internship

Second winner will get 2 months paid internship

And third winner will get one month paid internship

Furthermore, the winning essay will also be published in the forthcoming LP Magazine (Issue 5).
