The 2021 law week of the Capital bar was themed “ Post COVID Realities for Nigerian Lawyers; Curbing Insecurity Challenges and Fostering National Development”. The event was held at Gadis Event Center, Dutse, Abuja on the 1st and 2nd of June, 2021.

The first day of the event featured a keynote speech from Dr. Sam Amadi as well as goodwill messages from the special guests: Chief Judge of the FCT, Hon. Justice Salisu Garba Abdullahi (ably represented by Hon. Justice O.A Musa); Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Ciroma, SAN; Legal luminary and Principal Partner of J-K Gadzama LLP, Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN and Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mrs. Joyce Oduah.
The Servant Chairman of the branch, Mr Clement Chukwuemeka, while delivering his address, thanked Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN for his unwavering fatherly support to the branch and urged all lawyers to be steadfast. The Learned Silk was also honoured with an award by the branch.
Also on the first day, the branch released the 2nd edition of its Journal which contains rich articles from Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN and other notable legal luminaries.
