Nigerian relationship counsellor and social media personality, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has regained her freedom after spending several months in custody over multiple alleged fraud cases.

Blessing CEO was released on Saturday, October 24, 2026, following a period of detention that began in June amid separate criminal proceedings involving allegations of property, cancer-related and tenancy fraud.

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala confirmed her release in a post on Instagram, where she shared a video conversation with the media personality.

“Blessing CEO is finally out, thank you Jesus. Awwwww ajjeeeyyyy,” Ogala wrote.

Her release comes after a difficult period in custody during which she lost her second son following an asthma attack.

Blessing CEO had earlier confirmed the death of her son while distancing herself from a ₦56 million fundraising appeal purportedly launched in connection with the tragedy.

Her legal troubles began in June when she was arraigned over an alleged ₦36 million property fraud and subsequently granted bail in the sum of ₦10 million on June 9, 2026.

The following day, June 10, she was re-arraigned before the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over a separate alleged ₦13 million cancer-related fraud and alleged falsification of cancer test results.

In July, Blessing CEO was again granted bail in the sum of ₦20 million in another case involving an alleged ₦69.15 million tenancy fraud.

Despite the various bail orders, she remained in custody for months before eventually regaining her freedom on Saturday.

The multiple cases against the social media personality involve separate allegations and remain subject to determination by the courts.

Her release does not amount to an acquittal or termination of the criminal proceedings, as the allegations against her are yet to be finally determined.

Blessing CEO, who has built a large social media following through relationship commentary and lifestyle content, had remained largely out of the public space during her detention.
