The organisers of the Lawyers Mass-Housing and Land-Banking Scheme have announced the extension of their 2026 Annual General Conference, AGC, 10 per cent discount promotion to September 30, 2026, as more lawyers continue to take up allocations under the scheme.

According to a notice issued by Chief Silas E. Agbara, Esq., Administrator of the Lawyers In Business Institute and Pioneer Secretary of the NBA Legal Entrepreneurship Committee, Sir William Wobodo, SAN, of the Nigerian Bar Association, Port Harcourt Branch, is among the latest allottees in the housing and land-banking initiative.

The organisers said the scheme is designed to provide lawyers with opportunities to acquire land and develop residential properties that could serve both as long-term investments and alternative sources of income, particularly after retirement.

They further disclosed that engagement is ongoing over the construction of a road expected to improve access from the estate to the Abuja city centre.

According to the notice, a letter seeking the intervention of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory on the proposed road was received on August 5, 2026, following what the organisers described as positive engagements involving some Senior Advocates of Nigeria.

The promoters expressed optimism that improved access to the estate could significantly enhance property and rental values in the area, although the projected increase remains an expectation by the scheme’s promoters.

Under the extended AGC promotional pricing, a 300-square-metre plot developed up to damp-proof course, DPC, level is offered at ₦24.5 million, compared with the stated post-promotion price of ₦29.4 million.

A 450-square-metre plot is being offered at ₦31.7 million, as against the stated post-promotion price of ₦34.8 million, while a 600-square-metre plot is priced at ₦36.5 million, compared with the stated post-promotion price of ₦40.1 million.

The organisers said interested lawyers and investors could participate in property inspections and further allocations in Abuja, while those unable to attend personally could send representatives.

The notice listed 08060266163 and 08050489622 as contact numbers for enquiries and inspections.

Agbara, who is also a Senior Associate at M.I. Dikko SAN & Associates, said the investment model could provide lawyers with a sustainable income stream, noting that developing a plot into flats could serve as a long-term rental and retirement investment.

The extended promotional offer will remain available until September 30, 2026, after which the organisers said the regular pricing structure would apply.
