FALAS – Federation of African Law students, the umbrella and uniting body of all law students in Africa, has appointed Cheeka McCoy Onyeka as the National Director Of her Directorate of Programs, policies and projects in Nigeria.

Cheeka brings his vast experience in leadership to the new role having occupied various top positions.

Prior to his emergence, he served as the Deputy Zonal Director Of Lawsan DPPP, South East, and also occupied the position as the pioneer chairman of the Lawson Internship Board, between 2019 and 2020.

Cheeka who’s an undergraduate of Law at the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University has also successfully founded two startups, Cosmo legal – a Career Advisory startup for young lawyers and law students and Law view – An African legal talents aggregator, connecting lawyers to jobs in multi-sector and the diaspora.

Cheeka will be involved in implementing FALAS’ objectives and growth plans in Nigeria and representing the country’s interest in the comities of African Nations.

FALAS founded in 2019, is led by the amiable Amb. Emmanuel Nwobodo, who is also the immediate past president of National Lawsan and highly noted for his stellar performance while in office.
