The publisher of Leadership newspaper, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah is reported to have died.

TheNigeriaLawyer gathered that he died shortly after a brief illness around 11 PM on Friday, 11th December, 2020.

Nda-Isaiah had attended the meeting of the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN) last week in Lagos.

The deceased was born on the 1st day of May, 1962 in Minna, Niger State and held the title of Kakaki Nupe.

He attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. The deceased was a trained pharmacist, politician and newspaper columnist.

TheNigeriaLawyer recalls that in the build up to the 2015 general elections, he was one of the candidates who jostled for the APC Presidential ticket together with Atiku Abubakar, Rochas Okorocha, Rabiu Kwankwaso amongst others which was later won by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, the deceased family and Leadership newspaper are yet to issue an official statement regarding the demise of the deceased.
