The link for the monitoring of the ongoing Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) elections results has been restored.
TheNigerianLawyer (TNL) gathered that there were earlier complaints that the link had been removed and expressed fear that the removal may be an attempt to rig the election.
“They have removed the live monitoring icon on the website. I just hope they have not started the rigging. It’s too early o.” lawyer complained
However, TNL has confirmed that the link has been restored. The election can now be monitored via https://go.nigerianbar.org.ng/
A total of 29, 635 lawyers are voting nationwide in the electronic poll and as at the time of filing this report, a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law, Olumide Akpata, is in early lead ahead of the two other contenders in the NBA presidential race – Babatunde Ajibade (SAN) and Dele Adesina (SAN).
