The Enugu Nigerian Bar Association, has set all plans rolling to honour outstanding individuals who have made tremendous contributions to the growth and development for the legal community.

This was disclosed in a statement by signed by the Chairman ENBAR Law week 2022, Prof Gozie Ogbodo, and the Alternate Chairman ENBAR Law Week 2022, who is a managing Partner at Obra Legal, Ikechukwu Onuoma Esq.
The branch commenced its 2022 Law Week today, Sunday, 4th December, with the theme “The Role of Lawyers in A Transitional Democracy”.
The venue is at Justice Umuzurike Auditorium, High Court Complex, Independence Layout Enugu, and the time is 10:00am.
The award giving ceremony is part of the activities scheduled by the theme to mark this year’s Law Week.
According to the statement the Legal Community and Stakeholders in the justice system are welcomed to “her Law Week holding at the Enugu High Court Auditorium.
“In th same vein, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi CON, collaborates with ENBAR and extends his warm regards to all participants of the law week.
“His Excellency welcomes members of the Bar and Bench from Enugu State and beyond Your Excellency wishes the participants very fruitful deliberations.”
During the Law Week, special recognition will be given to the following persons:
1. Dr. Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi CON Executive Governor of Enugu State for extra-ordinary Judiciary/NBA, Enugu benefactor
2 Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau Senior Advocate of Nigeria, President of Nigeria Bar Association for Outstanding Leadership
3. Chief A.O Mogboh, SAN outstanding benefactor to NBA, Enugu.
4.Chief (Mrs) A. J Offiah, SAN- Outstanding benefactor to NBA,Enugu.
5. Mr Olumide Akpata, Outstanding service to the Bar.
6. Mr. Peter Eze- Outstanding benefactor NBA, Enugu.
7. Jude Ezegwui Esq- Outstanding service to the Bar.
