Sabastine Anyia Esq., former chairman of NBA, Aguata branch and former Chairman of Chairmen of the 8 Branches of NBA in Anambra state, mourns the death of Hon. Justice D. O. C. Amaechina

Hon. Justice D. O. C. Amaechina reportedly passed on today 29th February, 2020.

In a condolence message made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL), Mr. Sabastine, Esq says until his death, the late Hon. Judge was Admin Judge of Awka High Court at the Judiciary Headquarters of Anambra State, he was appointed a Judge of the High Court in 2004 from the ranks of law Officers from the Ministry of Justice, having distinguished himself in practice, he was the Chairman of the Committee that organized the inauguration of the Court of Appeal in Awka on the 5th day of Feb, 2020.

Sabastine prays for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace. His condolence Message reads in part:

“we were all there present, when I had a discussion with him that day, he was brimming with life, little wonder the surprise at the sudden turn of events this morning, the legal community in Anambra has lost a gem, the Judicial community has been thrown into a mourning mood, the death of judicial officers in Anambra State these days is one too many.

“I mourn his death and pray that the almighty will give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.”
