The Nigerian Law School has announced the commencement of its admission process for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The notice was issued by the Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School, and signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, Aderonke O. Osho, on July 1, 2026.

According to the notice, admission into the Nigerian Law School Bar Part II Programme for graduates of Nigerian universities will be strictly based on the list of qualified candidates forwarded by accredited universities.

The Law School said the admission process would also be guided by the admission quota approved by the Council of Legal Education.

To ensure a smooth admission exercise, the management advised all universities to accurately compile and submit the details of their graduates, including names, matriculation numbers and other required particulars.

Prospective applicants were also directed to complete their application forms carefully, ensuring that their names are correctly spelt and arranged in the proper order.

The Nigerian Law School warned that the use of abbreviations would not be permitted, adding that all other details on the application form must be correctly completed.

It further cautioned that it would not entertain requests for correction or amendment of applicants’ details after submission by either the applicant or the applicant’s university.

The notice read in part, “Applicants are advised to complete the application form carefully, ensuring that their names are correctly spelt and arranged in proper order. The use of abbreviations is not permitted. All other details on the application form must also be completed correctly.”

“Please note that the Nigerian Law School will not entertain requests for correction or amendments of applicants’ details after they have been submitted by the applicant or the applicant’s university,” it added.

The announcement formally opens the admission process for prospective Bar Part II students for the 2026/2027 academic session.
