The former Chairman of the Aguata Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association NBA and the Principal Partner of S. U. Anyia & Co, Mr. Sabastine Anyia has called for the release of his classmate, school mate and Vice-Chairperson of the Nigerian Bar Association, Jalingo Branch who was kidnapped at her residence at about 2:00 am on Friday the 31st day of January, 2020.

Zainab Kishimi is a Principal States counsel with the Taraba State Ministry of Justice and a committed member of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Taraba State. Mr. Anyia in a statement to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) describes Mr. Zainab as “humble and comely fellow.”
“I call on the those behind this dastardly act to release her now. The government of Taraba State and of the Federation must do everything within their powers to ensure her release forthwith.”
Specifically mentioning some security agencies, Anyia says: “What is happening to lawyers in this country? If the police are not after us, the Road Safety are after us, if not the two above, kidnappers and bandits are after us. We are gradually turning into endangering species. God help us.
“I demand her release now.”
