Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has officially moved its head office operations from Abuja to Lagos.

This was disclosed in an internal memo issued by FAAN’s Managing Director, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku on January 15th, 2024.

According to the memo, the relocation follows a directive by the Minister of Aviation that FAAN’s corporate headquarters should now be situated in Lagos instead of the Federal Capital Territory.

“The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has directed that the Headquarters of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) should be relocated from Abuja to Lagos,” the memo stated.

Mrs Kuku further requested all departmental heads in FAAN to advise on the implications of shifting the agency’s core administrative functions away from Abuja to Lagos.
