Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq., a former National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association and a Council Member of SPIDEL (Section on Public Interest and Development Law), is in mourning as he announces the passing of his beloved mother, Lady (Lolo) Rosemary Joy Uche Ohagba, affectionately known as Nneoma.

Lady Rosemary Ohagba, aged 84, departed this world on August 31, 2023, coincidentally, on her 84th birthday.

The late Lady Rosemary Ohagba was a devout Christian of the Roman Catholic faith who dedicated her life to selfless service to God and humanity. As a retired teacher, she was known for her unwavering discipline, genuine philanthropy, and motherly care for all who crossed her path.

Nneoma, as she was fondly called, touched the lives of many and encouraged acts of charity. Her benevolence extended to the poor, destitute, downtrodden, motherless babies, Block-Rosary children, and countless others. She served God and mankind with unparalleled passion and dedication throughout her life.

Within the Catholic Church and beyond, Nneoma played a pivotal role, nurturing and leading numerous groups and organizations. Her leadership, guidance, and selfless deeds left an indelible mark on the Church and society.

Within her family, she was a source of peace, hard work, happiness, and love. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of her grieving husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the entire family.

The Ohagba family and their friends seek solace in their faith and pray for the repose of Lady Rosemary Ohagba’s beautiful soul in heavenly paradise. They also extend their gratitude for the condolences and support received during this difficult time.

May Lady Rosemary Ohagba’s legacy of love, compassion, and service to humanity continue to inspire all who knew her.
