How do I wish our children a happy children’s day when they cannot go to school. They cannot meet with their colleagues.

Our stadia all over the country are locked up and there’s no place for them to celebrate. They’ve been denied of their usual match past and they are all complaining of boredom in their various homes.

Our children have been denied the opportunity of competing with each other on a day like this. No price is won by any of them as they are locked up at home. How many of them even remember that today is children’s day? Are these the people I should wish a happy children’s day?

The good news is that this Covid 19 that has forced us and our children to remain indoors in our homes shall soon be history. Our children will soon have the opportunity to celebrate again and showcase their talents.

I will not wish our children happy children’s day rather I’ll wish them greater expectations ahead. This period shall surely come to pass and we shall be victorious at the end.

The world is passing through a phase that the adults and our children must join force to put to shame those who are trying our resilient spirit. I assure you, no pandemic will ever subdue us like this again.
