Iyioha Osabase Omon was few days ago abducted by yet unknown persons in Benin City few weeks after another lawyer from Benin was kidnapped.
Osehon while reacting to this ugly trend in Benin said the abduction of legal practitioners all over Nigeria is to say the least worrisome.
“In recent times, legal practitioners have become endangered species in the hands of these unscrupulous elements masquerading as humans. Few days ago one of our own Iyoha Osobase Omon, Esq., a
legal practitioner based in Benin city, Edo State was kidnapped by men of the underworld.
“Recall that just a few weeks ago a legal practitioner was also kidnapped in Edo and kept in the custody of his captors for about a week.
“Security operatives in the state and even beyond should take urgent professional steps aimed not just at releasing him speedily from the nasty hands of his abductors but to also bring these unscrupulous elements to book and forestall further occurrences in the state and beyond.
