The Governor of Eastern Bar Forum, Mr. S.Long Williams, Esq has congratulated all members of the Forum on the occasion of Christmas festivities.

He made this in a Christmas message which was made available to TheNigeriaLawyer.

“Gentlemen once again Christmas has come, it is worth giving God all the glory for the grace and unmerited mercies He has shown us this year 2020.

“You will all agree that this year has been one of the most challenging in recent times. We have lost our beloved colleagues, friends and relations. Many have suffered untold hardship, pain, suffering and anguish due to no fault of ours but predominantly by the default of persons and authorities who have failed to live up to their sole and primary responsibility of delivering good governance and securing our lives and properties. We are in the worst state of our lives as citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”, he said.

However, he stated that notwithstanding all the challenges faced in 2020, it worths to be celebrated given the birth of Jesus Christ.

“However, this is Christmas and we will all celebrate the birth and times of our Lord Jesus Christ. No one should be allowed to steal our happiness and joy for with Christ we are in majority. As we go about the season having good times with our families and friends, l on behalf of the Governing Council of the Eastern Bar Forum wish you all a Merry and bountiful Christmas.”

Therefore, he enjoined all members of the Forum as the celebrate, to ensure the observe COVID-19 protocols.

“Good luck, Stay Safe as you Observe all the Covid-19 Rules and Enjoy Responsibly. God bless you all”, he said.
