The Governing Council of the NBA YLF is calling on all young lawyers to participate in a survey on the remuneration expectations of young lawyers.

The call was made in a press release signed by the Chairman, Governing Council of the NBA YLF.

According to the notice, the survey link will remain available until January, 16, 2020.

The Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Forum (“NBA YLF”) was established with an underlying objective of articulating the welfare of lawyers within the first seven years of post-call to the Nigerian Bar (“Young Lawyers”), the promotion of professional development and addressing challenges faced by Young Lawyers.

In response to the persistent calls by Young Lawyers across the country for enhanced welfare conditions including but not limited to higher remuneration and capacity development, the Governing Council of the NBA YLF considers it necessary to request the inputs of all relevant stakeholders in driving the conversation on better remuneration for Young Lawyers across the country. 

In furtherance of the above objective, the Governing Council of the NBA YLF invites all Young Lawyers to participate in a survey on the remuneration expectations of Young Lawyers. A link to the survey is provided below:

Young Lawyers are advised to note that the responses provided will be treated by the NBA YLF with utmost regard for privacy and anonymity. The request for Supreme Court Enrollment Number is for verification purposes to ensure that only Young Lawyers provide responses to the questions asked.

The survey link will remain available until January 16, 2020 and we urge Young Lawyers to make use of same within the period of its availability.
