Mr. Malik is the Managing Partner of the prestigious Law Firm of Alegeh & Co. He joined the firm in May, 2010 and heads the Oil and Gas, as well as Arbitration Teams in the firm. He is a 1999 graduate of Law from the University of Ibadan.
He attended the Nigerian Law School in the 2001-2002 session and was duly called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. He presently holds Masters Degrees in Law (LL. M) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Masters in International Studies (MIS) from the University of Ilorin. He also holds Certificates in International Criminal Justice & Administration and Public Prosecution from the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies.
TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) recalls that the Legal Practitioner’s Privileges Committee(LPPC) had sometime in July released a shortlist of Lawyers that were to be conferred with the title of Senior Advocate of Nigeria today. Out of the 117 lawyers that applied for the rank this year, 80 were shortlisted, out of which the final 38 emerged.
The 38 new SANs include two females, three from the academics and 35 Advocates. Others in the list are Akpata, Adegboruwa, etc.
