President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new management team to head the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

The new appointees, pending confirmation by the Senate, are:

Gbenga Alade – Managing Director/CEO
Aminu Ismail – Executive Director
Adeshola Lamidi – Executive Director
Lucky Adaghe – Executive Director

Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said President Tinubu expects the new team to demonstrate “unflagging dedication, professionalism, and dutifulness” in managing AMCON.

The president aims for AMCON’s operations under the new leadership to be “more efficient, transparent, and in consonance with his determination to sanitize the nation’s financial system.”

The broader goals outlined are to maximize value and enhance investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.
