Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has announced a scholarship award to JAMB’s highest scorer, Miss Nkechinyere Umeh scholarship at the State University.

Miss Umeh from Anambra State scored a cumulative mark of 360 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

This was conveyed in a statement signed by Soludo’s Press Secretary Christian Aburime.

He said Soludo congratulated her, describing her achievement as and said she made the state proud with her exceptional performance.

The Governor While announcing the scholarship which he said was well deserved asked her to study any course of her choice at the state-owned Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.

According to him, the scholarship will not only serve as a token of the state government’s appreciation for her hard work but also provide her with the opportunity to pursue her dreams and contribute to the development of the state in the future.

He wished Miss Umeh continued success in her future academic pursuits, Soludo also encouraged other young Anambra students within the State and across the nation to take inspiration from Umeh’s outstanding performance and take advantage of the improved conducive learning environment in the State to strive for excellence.
