Mr. Sabastine Anyia, Esq., has urged his supporters to beware of fraudulent hackers claiming to be his supporters, with the aim of hacking media accounts of his innocent supporters.

Furthermore, he disclaimed that he does not know any person who may call or have called to be a supporter of his, with the hope of getting any code from them.

This is contained in a statement signed by him which was made available to TheNigeriaLawyer.

The statement reads:

LEARNED COLLEAGUES, BE WARNED. HACKERS ON THE MOVE AGAIN

This afternoon, some of my friends called and informed me that one hacker called them claiming to be my supporter. The said hacker demanded for their WhatsApp code. Let me inform my colleagues that I do not know the said hacker. He’s not working for me, he is not my supporter and I did not send him.

You’ll recall that sometime in March this year, these same people hacked my phone and because of the non disclosure of the said hacker, I took Airtel Nigeria to court. The case is still pending till date.

It is unfortunate that some learned colleagues will engage themselves in this dastardly act.

Last week Friday, this desperate people called me on phone and claimed that they are organizing debate for NBA Welfare secretary candidates and sent a code to me to use for the said debate, thereafter they called me to send back the code to them for them to confirm. I dictated that they were hackers and threatened to get them arrested if they called my line again.

Having realised that I know their trick, they left me for my supporters. Most of our colleagues and my supporters that erroneously gave their WhatsApp code to this hacker can no longer gain access to their WhatsApp and this act is causing our learned colleagues who gave their code to this hacker untold hardship

Tenure for NBA office is only 2 years. Our colleagues should stop being desperate.
