The International Law Association (ILA) – Nigeria Branch has announced its 7th annual conference themed “Public Private Partnerships & International Law: Building Blocks for Sustainable Infrastructure Financing.” The two-day conference will be held on April 4-5, 2024 at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the ILA Nigeria Branch annual conference on matters relating to international law.
The conference will bring together legal practitioners, academics, policymakers and development partners to discuss utilizing public-private partnerships to finance sustainable infrastructure projects in developing countries.
Topics to be addressed include structuring PPP contracts under international investment agreements, resolving investor-state disputes in PPPs, and integrating environmental and social safeguards into PPP frameworks.
