Popular American singer R. Kelly may be behind bars but that hasn’t stopped him from serenading a fan.

According to reports, a fan recently visited her father, who is allegedly incarcerated in the same prison as the 55-year-old singer.

Following her visit, her dad offered to get the singer on the phone and she nicely asked him to sing her a song.

In a TikTok video shared on The Shade Room Instagram page, the lady with account handle @jizzlezoldykk was speaking on phone with the R&B singer, with the caller ID on her iPhone showing ‘Brooklyn Federal Prison.’

The lady particularly requested for the song “Love Letter” by R. Kelly released on December 14, 2010.

“I wanted to ask you something, can you sing a song for me?” she asked Kelly, who responded, “Which one?”

She started to sing before Kelly chimed in with the rest of the lyrics. “Did you get my card? Did you read my love letter?” he sang in his unmistakable voice.

She was over the moon by R. Kelly’s mini-performance as she gushed over his voice.

She thanked the singer afterwards still chuckling out loudly while he replied saying: “You’re welcome” with a smile clearly heard from his soft chuckles.
