TIGER WOODS will jet out of the USA for treatment following his DUI arrest last week.

The iconic golfer, 50, rolled his Land Rover after being involved in a high-speed SUV smash.

Woods entered a not guilty plea to the two charges he is facing after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

And the 15-time major winner is preparing to spend some time overseas in a bid to recover his health.

A Florida judge has given Woods permission to leave the USA to receive care after it was argued his “privacy has been repeatedly compromised”.

A filing shows his attorney, Douglas Duncan, said, “Ongoing medical scrutiny and public exposure create significant barriers to his care and would result in setbacks and an inability to fully engage in treatment.”

It was also argued, “Based upon the defendant’s treating physician, the out of country treatment facility recommendation is based upon the defendant’s complex clinical presentation and the urgent need for a level of care that cannot safely or effectively be done within the United States.”

The police report says Woods was found with two hydrocodone pills when they reached his vehicle in Jupiter Island, Florida, last Friday.

Cops claimed he was “sweating profusely” and was “lethargic and slow” at times when he moved.

Woods, who spent eight hours in jail following his arrest, penned a statement on social media after being released on bail.

He said, “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today.

“I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.

“This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.

“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally.

“I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”

Woods has also confirmed that he will not captain Team USA at next year’s Ryder Cup.
