President Bola Tinubu has appointed Saviour Enyiekere as the Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC). The announcement was made on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy.

Enyiekere, an environmental specialist, previously served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Senate President Godswill Akpabio. He will serve a five-year term, which may be renewed.

In addition to Enyiekere’s appointment, Tinubu also named two representatives from each of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones to serve as members of the commission, also on a five-year renewable term.
