The former National Treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association Joyce Oduah FICMC, said that the frequent cases of maltreatment, rape, and killing of our girls and young women in Nigeria are very worrisome and disheartening. 

Joyce made this remark on Tuesday following the incessant menace of rape occurrences in modern Nigeria.

According to her, It is not novel and surprising to find the girl child being treated with so much disdain these days. 

“I totally condemn every inhuman treatment and killing of our girls and women. 

“Indeed, every girl and woman, should be respected and valued by society, irrespective of her age, colour, and race.

“I say no to RAPE,”  she added.
