Senior Advocates of Nigeria, E. Y. Kura, SAN, and Wale Fapohunda SAN have been appointed by the NBA President, Y. C. Maikyau into fact-finding committees under the new NBA administration.

In duo were announced as heads of two independent committees of Nigeria Bar Association in the course of Mr. Maiyau’s inaugural speech.
While Mr. E.Y. Kura SAN chairs the Electoral reform committee with the mandate to minimize the cost incurred during NBA elections among other terms of reference. An inquiry committee was also set up to investigate issues that erupted during the distribution of bags at the NBA AGC venue on Tuesday, 23/8/2022.
The new appointment was contained in a statement by the NBA National press secretary, Akorede Lawal.
Recall that former NBA President, Olumide Akpata, under whose watch the incident occurred, had apologized over the mob-like actions of legal practitioners during the Annual General Conference of the NBA at the (proposed) Eko Atlantic city in Lagos.
Akpata also blacklisted Antoche Limited, the business hired to provide conference materials, and its owners.
