The Nigerian Law School website [https://www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng/] has been down for several weeks, causing difficulties for recent law graduates, especially those overseas.
A check by TheNigeriaLawyer showed that the web page is displaying a “Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503” message, which means the website or service is temporarily unavailable, leaving users unable to access critical information or services.
The prolonged downtime has caused significant challenges for law graduates, particularly those residing abroad, who are struggling to obtain transcripts and other essential documents from the Law School. With the website inaccessible for an extended period and no alternative source of information available, graduates have expressed frustration and disappointment with the lack of communication from the Nigerian Law School.
The impact of the outage extends beyond recent graduates, as intending lawyers have also found themselves “in the dark” regarding the Law School calendar and important dates. The absence of a functional website has left prospective students unable to access crucial information about admissions, course schedules, and other essential details.
Efforts by TheNigeriaLawyer to obtain responses from the Nigerian Law School on the situation have been unsuccessful, further highlighting longstanding communication issues with the institution.
The Nigerian Law School’s failure to address the website’s downtime and provide timely, accurate information to its stakeholders raises serious concerns about the institution’s ability to support the needs of aspiring legal professionals.
