Nigerian High Commissioner in India is a Fine Gentleman, Zakiyyu Muhammad reacts to allegation against the Commissioner

Mr. Muhammad believes that there is actually no issue to be spoken about with respect to the allegation, only that some persons just want to bring the reputation of the commissioner to disrepute. According to him, whilst the Nigerians in India are celebrating and jubilating for having someone that have the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart as their High Commissioner, some mischief makers who never wanted Nigeria to progress are out trying to create issues out of none. Mr. Muhammad who disclosed that he is a Research Scholar doing in his PhD in India, stated that he has never heard the name BIAFRA ever mentioned in the high commission which he visits on regular basis. According to him, the commissioner is indeed a man of respect. His words: “Our high commissioner is a disciplined and well exposed gentleman. Nigeria’s flag have been honored on number of occasion due to his representation. For Example, he had been invited to present papers in so many research institutions of which I personally attend. Last month, he was invited by one of the biggest Universities in India.” He therefore requested for either the auditor general or any other authority concern to audit the finances of the High Commission. However, in the meantime, he is appealing to every well meaning Nigerian to disregard any information trying to bring the Nigerian High Commissioner to India to disrepute.
