The quest for a United Nigeria cannot be over emphasized at this particular period. Our strength as a nation lies in our people’s diversity which should be positively applied for the progress and development of our dear country. As Nigerians, we must continue to co-exist with one another in any part of the country in peace and harmony to attain the lofty heights we seek. There is a great need for Nigerians to imbibe the wordings of the 2nd Stanza of the National Anthem as it is on its own, a road map for the future of our Nation. The 2nd Stanza reads thus: Oh God of Creation, direct our noble cause Guide our leader’s right Help our youths the truth to know In love and honesty to grow And living just and true Great lofty heights attain To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign The President further enjoins all organs of government to continue to promote the rule of Law and uphold the tenets of justice in carrying out their duties.
