The Abuja Division of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria has released procedure for the filing of processes.
In a Notice made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL), the National Industrial Court provided 8 steps on how to go about the filing process.
Step one requires all processes to be on an envelope. The envelope shall be labeled with your suit number, date, and name of case.
Persons should seal the envelope and drop it at the dropbox and same shall be treated within 120hours (5 days) according to the NICN Practice Direction 2020
The fifth step requires registering of submitted documents in the register provided “you can also send your processes electronically to nicnabuja.litigationregristry@courts.gov.ng” the Notice reads
Processes will be assessed and the amount for payment shall be sent to the email provided.
Lastly, step 8 says “you are required to make payment and upload the receipt to nicnabuja.litigationregristry@courts.gov.ng“.
