Members of the NBA Calendar branch (Doyen Bar) escaped threats of death from the hands of armed bandits in Benin, Edo State.

According to the information disclosed to TNL, the members were attacked while on their way to attend the NBA Annual General Conference.

It took the intervention of two police escorts who engaged the bandits for them to escape the scene unhurt.

TNL has tried reaching members of the Doyen bar who were involved in the attack but all to no avail.

So far, information at our disposal does not include any news of casualties.
