The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is set to hold a 5 km health walk this morning Saturday, August 26, 2023, as a part of its Annual General Conference.

The health walk, designed to advocate for healthy living through regular exercise, will commence at 7 a.m. starting from the NBA National Secretariat and concluding at the National Stadium.

The Annual General Conference Planning Committee (AGCPC) issued a statement inviting all NBA members to participate in the walk, which is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. On the same day, following the health walk, there will be a tree planting session.

The AGCPC emphasized that the primary objective of the annual health walk is to underscore the significance of physical fitness and overall wellbeing among legal practitioners.

Members are strongly encouraged to attend the event wearing comfortable sports attire. The NBA secretariat has assured participants that water and light refreshments will be provided at the endpoint.

This health walk serves as a unique opportunity for NBA members to prioritize their health and wellness while fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie within the legal community. By participating in this event, legal professionals are not only advocating for their own wellbeing but also setting a positive example for others to follow.
