A. B. Mahmoud (SAN), president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), is the keynote speaker at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) sensitisation workshop in Kano. The workshop, which is about the code of governance for stakeholders in the telecommunications industry, is scheduled for February 15. It is the third in a series. The first one took place in Lagos on August 11, 2017, while the second held on November 16, 2017 in Enugu. The code of corporate governance for the telecoms industry was introduced in July 2014 and reviewed in 2016. It outlines the minimum global best practices covering processes, procedures and general corporate behaviours for the telecommunications sector operators.
