Lema became a member of the Nigerian Bar association (NBA) Lagos Branch in 2004 and has served the NBA in various capacities. In 2014-2015 he served as the Branch Secretary. In 2014-15 he was a member of the National Executive Committee of the NBA. He is indeed a Bar man.
