The Chairman and members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Kano Branch, have congratulated Mr. Olumide Akpata, over his emergence as President-elect of the Association.

This is contained in a congratulatory letter signed by the Branch Chairman, Aminu S. Gadanya, dated 3rd of August, 2020 and made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL)

The Branch also congratulated “Mrs. Joyce Oduah, the General Secretary Elect and other elected National officers and wish them all a successful tenure.”

Gadanya further “urges the President-elect to extend hands of friendship to his co-contestants in pursuit of the aims and objectives of our Association as well as implementation of programs outlined in his manifesto.”

Gadanya concluded with commendation praising the incumbent president of NBA, Paul Usoro, SAN for conducting a transparent election: “at this juncture we must commend President Paul Usoro, SAN and the ECNBA for conducting a seamless and transparent election.
