The Nigerian Bar Association Ihiala Branch (The Eagle Bar) has announced the suspension of her 2021 Law.
Ihiala branch, had earlier slated 13th to 15th October, to hold her Week program, but had to cancel it due to the security situation in Anambra State.
This was disclosed to TheNigerialawyer, in a joint statement by the Chairman, Vitalis Ihedigbo Esq. and Secretary, Awa Peter Awa, on Friday, stating that the decision was reached at its General Meeting.
He said, “By a special motion moved by I.O Okenwa Esq. and seconded by I.C Nsofor Esq. at its General Meeting held on 8th October, 2021 at the High Court Complex Ihiala Anambra State, the branch unanimously resolved to indefinitely suspend the program in view of the prevailing security challenges in the State.
“The branch regrets the inconvenience the suspension will cause all her invited guests.”
The statement also stated that a new date will be communicated as soon as the situation returns to normal.
